Madison Street: Traffic approaching the square from the South on Madison Street would still be able to make a left-hand turn onto Fountain Circle, which continues to allow easy access to the parking garage. The right-hand turn onto South Side Square would no longer exist. Franklin Street: Traffic approaching the square from the South on Franklin Street would continue to have the same access to the courthouse, I-565, and streets in between as exists now. The left-hand turn onto North Side Square would no longer exist. Randolph Street: Traffic approaching the square from the East on Randolph Street would be required to make a right-hand turn onto Washington Street, which would continue to provide access to I-565 and points in between. Jefferson Street: Traffic approaching the square from the North on Jefferson Street would continue to have the same access from I-565 to the courthouse, medical district, and streets in between as exists now. The left-hand turn onto South Side Square would no longer exist. Fountain Circle: Traffic approaching the square from the West on Fountain Circle would turn right onto Madison Street.
Spring Street: No change.
Access to I-565 from Madison Street: Traffic traveling south on Madison Street wishing to reach I-565 would turn right onto Williams Street or Gates Street, and then make a left onto Franklin, which provides direct access to I-565 via Washington Street. An I-565 sign could be installed on Madison Street at the Williams Street intersection, and another I-565 sign could be installed on Williams Street at the corner of Franklin.
